CATHOLIC PROFESSIONAL AND BUSINESS GROUP DIOCESE of RENO

The Catholic Professional & Business Group strives to provide lay and religious speakers who are successful leaders in their field. These are men and women with a message to encourage and motivate our members to live an exemplary Christian life style, through the principles taught by the Catholic Church, in their own business and personal environments. Members are given an opportunity to share their faith, network, and deepen their relationship with God. The CP&BG apostolate is an extension of the lay ministry and ongoing adult faith formation that Bishop Phillip Straling was committed to throughout his tenure as Bishop, and that Bishop Randolph Calvo has continued.

It is our fervent prayer that this organization be a beacon of the truth and a bulwark for the building up of the family, society, and the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.

Policies:

As a registered member you have access to our web directory. We will also provide a link from our website to yours, if you have one.

If you represent an organization that provides service to the church or community you may approach the Board of Directors, and if approved, you may make a short "Public Service" announcement about your operations at a future meeting.

While one purpose of the Group is to provide a venue for business networking, the meetings will not be a forum for formal business advertising. The website, member directory, and table conversation will be the informal means by which we network. All members are encouraged to submit potential speakers, topics of interest, suggestions, and comments to the Board of Directors for consideration. We truly want the CP&BG to be responsive to the members while holding fast to the Deposit of Faith and the truth as revealed by the Mother Church.

$200.00 pays the annual membership fee, buys all 9 events that we have scheduled, and gives members the privilege of bringing a family member for $15.00 anytime, and a first-time guest for $15.00 as well. You will also be listed in our Member Directory (if membership is paid by August 15).

$50 for the annual membership fee and $20.00 per breakfast, family members $15.00, and bring a first time guest for $15.00. You will also be listed in our Member Directory (if membership is paid by August 15).
